Iron Lynx has confirmed it will display one of its Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 cars from Le Mans at IFA Berlin 2026, the consumer electronics and home appliance trade fair, on the stand of its partner Blaupunkt (source: Iron Lynx press release).

The car in question is the #79 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, which the team says raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (source: Iron Lynx press release). Blaupunkt, which became an Iron Lynx partner in 2025, will recreate a pit box atmosphere on its stand for the occasion (source: Iron Lynx press release).

The appearance is scheduled for Hall 22, Booth 127, at Messe Berlin, running from Friday 4 September to Tuesday 8 September 2026 (source: Iron Lynx press release). Iron Lynx notes that this places the car on public display in Germany in the middle of an active FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series season, rather than during a winter off-season break (source: Iron Lynx press release).

According to Iron Lynx, the 2025 edition of IFA Berlin was visited by 220,000 people from 140 countries and featured more than 190 exhibitors (source: Iron Lynx press release). That figure differs from the exhibitor count originally referenced in this article's standfirst, which cited 1,900 exhibitors; the stored press release itself states 190 exhibitors, and that lower figure is the one directly sourced here.

Iron Lynx team principal and CEO Andrea Piccini said: "We are delighted to take this exciting step in our partnership with Blaupunkt, and proud to have our #79 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 from the 24 Hours of Le Mans on display in such a world-class exhibition. This initiative highlights the mutual benefits of merging two worlds that, while different in many ways, share so many values. The team will be showcased on a very important stage, and many people will have the chance to make a jump into the FIA WEC and ELMS excitement for one day." (source: Iron Lynx press release).

Blaupunkt board member Frank Goergen added: "Bringing the spirit of Le Mans to IFA Berlin this year is something truly special for us. Showcasing the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 alongside our latest Blaupunkt products creates a powerful connection between two worlds driven by the same values: quality, precision, and performance. These principles are essential on the track in endurance racing and they're equally important in every Blaupunkt product we bring to consumers. We'd like to sincerely thank the entire Iron Lynx team for making it possible to bring the car to Berlin in the middle of the racing season." (source: Iron Lynx press release).

Beyond the marketing language, the concrete elements are straightforward: a specific car, a specific stand location, and fixed dates that sit inside the WEC and ELMS calendar. It is, in that sense, a scheduled public appearance rather than a vague sponsorship announcement, and it illustrates a wider pattern of endurance racing teams pursuing visibility at general consumer events rather than only at circuits (ANALYSIS).
